Conostylis ‘Silversunrise’ is a fantastic low growing Australian native, famed for its soft silvery foliage. It stands in a dense clump, and looks most effective when planted en masse.
During spring and summer, ‘Silversunrise’ is adorned with a spectacular display of yellow flowers held above the foliage on silver stems. These are attractive to native bees and butterflies.
This delightful dwarf clumping perennial looks fantastic when planted against contrasting plants with darker foliage, or when a dark mulch is used to complete a display.
‘Silversunrise’ is a very low maintenance, frost hardy and dry tolerant variety that’s well suited to any native style garden or one requiring little maintenance.
'Silversunrise' has no special requirements. It will produce great results with very low water volumes. Plant in a sunny location, in a well drained soil - it does not like to sit in a wet environment.
Feed in early spring with a slow release fertiliser formulated for natives for optimum results.
