The adorable little sister to our favourite dwarf Agapanthus -
'Baby Pete'. She has all the hardiness and strong features of 'Baby Pete', yet with a stunning floral display of soft, cool tones. Bred in Australia and proven to date to be sterile, 'Baby Periwinkle' is a perfect choice both for the home garden and commercial landscaping, even where the threat of potential environmental weeds are a concern. Well suited for low borders and edging, it would make for a perfect addition to brighten up a pathway or garden edge.
Easy to grow in most soil types which are well draining. Apply a slow release fertiliser in spring. No pruning generally required although removing spent flowering stems will encourage further flushes. Once established, water requirements are low. Quite dry tolerant requiring only occasional deep watering during extended periods of heat.
